How long have you been a DJ?
- I began DJing on August 18, 2018.
What's your favorite music to play?
- I love events where I get to do what I want with my music selections, because there's so much fun to have with blends and such. I dislike greatly the feeling of being boxed in or limited to one specific style.
Who's your favorite singer or band?
- Helen Folasade Adu is my one above all. Despite having only about 80 songs, she somehow has one for every moment of my life, everything I encounter. I can always find solace in her voice.
What does No.Bi.Es. mean?
- The NO stands for New Orleans. The Bi stands for Bianca. The Es stands for Estrella, one of my middle names. It's pronounces "no b-s" because I'm not messing around on the turntables.
When did you begin transitioning to womanhood?
- I affirmed the decision on December 15, 2017.
- I went fulltime on February 15, 2018.
- I began hormone treatment on May 7, 2020.
- I legally changed my name on April 29, 2021.
What's up with the transition delays?
- Eh, you know how life is.
How long did you know ... y'know?
- Felt it since I was three.
How tall are you?
- I'm 6'4", or 193cm. Contrary to common belief, I'm not as leggy as I seem - my body is about evenly proportioned.
What's your book about?
- You'll have to wait and see!
What inspired you to write a book?
- My desire for my truth to be accessible to all.
What's your stance on--
- There's no gotchas going on over here, you saw the stickers on my laptop! (If not, feel free to go back and look.) I believe strongly in creating a better world for all humanity, particularly the next generation. I'm one woman doing all she can to help.
Can I see your feet?
- Yes. Maybe ... no.
